Walnut writing table, with two drawers,
made in France in the first half of the 1800s.
The top, inlaid with a light wood fillet,
rests on four turned legs of solid walnut.
On one side two large drawers with bronze handles.
The edge of the top has the profile molded in three small half-rounds.
Over the years it has probably also been used
as a work table and bears signs of wear on the top and sides
The height for the legs under the band is 61 cm
Restored and polished with shellac with wax finish
