"Service In Russian Silver From 1788"
Silver and vermeil tea and coffee service in modernist (neoclassical) form from the end of the 18th century. Composed of a coffee maker, a selfish coffee maker, a teapot, a creamer and a sugar bowl this set is absolutely "Art Deco" .... It is the work of one of the silversmiths of Catherine II. The interiors are vermeils, and the parts are disassembled to facilitate cleaning. Various brands (inventories or workshop marks) not identified on the funds. The sugar bowl is later (end of the 19th century).Hallmarks: Saint-Petersbourg, 1788 Discharge of Nikifor Moshalkin 1772-1800 Silversmith, Carl-Johan Berg, received silversmith of the Court in 1784 and Alderman (president of the corporation) in 1802.

Condition report: Very good condition. Traces of wear and tear to the gold plate.
