Graduate degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier. Printed in Latin and completed with gold ink. Recipient Mathurin Gaspard Tardy (1756- Rochefort, 1811-Rochefort) doctor and surgeon of the Navy in Rochefort. Certified by Joseph François de Malide Bishop of Montpellier. Dated 16 March 1785. Initialed lower left under the consulate. The Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier is the oldest of the Western world still existing, it will celebrate its 800 years in 2020.
