Painting on canvas depicting a nude woman lying Albert Zavaro, born April 25, 1925 in Istanbul is a French painter of Spanish origin. Frame 108 cm x 58 cm / Canvas 100 cm x 50 cm I am at your disposal for any further information Figurative painter and surrealist inspiration, he is one of the artists of the New School of Paris. Arrived in France, he is naturalized and trained at the School of Fine Arts of Paris in the workshop of Brianchon from 1947 to 1950. In 1952 he is laureate of the Casa de Velázquez2. He won the prize of Maison Descartes in Amsterdam in 1953. Albert Zavaro is a friend of the couple Jean Joyet and Marcelle Deloron. His son, Pascal Zavaro, is a recognized musician. Albert Zavaro teaches at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and, between 1970 and 1980, he has Nicolas Blin, Patrick Crulis, Gabor Breznay and Roberta Faulhaber among his students.
