"Kurdish Rug Turkish / Iran 1960s"
Beautiful Turkish Kurdish carpet or Northern Iranian 1960s. Carpet with a decoration of the Caucasus of the XVIII century. Good condition, some very acceptable wear compared to its price. Carpet very decorative and rare by its design. In the Caucasus, the cottage industry is very old. In the 17th century, the weavers of this region made "rustic" versions of Persian carpets, but from the end of the 18th century, the carpet of the Caucasus is characterized by a production specific to each tribe, by their angular motive and geometric with vibrant colors.
