FLAT middle desk in rosewood veneer and violet wood, it opens with three drawers belt, three drawers simulated on the other side. Golden bronze trim such as clogs, spandrels and pull handles. The tray is trimmed with a golden red leather to the small curved iron of a gilded bronze mold. Good DURAND says "DURAND the young", received with the mastery in 1761. XVIIIth century, JME. H. 74.5, L. 128, P. 68 cm. Bon Durand establishes his workshop rue de Charenton where he worked from obtaining his master's degree, in 1761, until the Revolution. His main clients were cabinet-makers such as Pierre Migeon and Denis Genty and upholsterers like Presle and Bonnemain.
