BRONZE "VIRGIN WITH CHILD AND JEAN BAPTIST" according to MICHEL ANGE - XIXth This bas-relief represents the Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus with John the Baptist child, according to the work of MICHEL ANGEL entitled "TONDO PITTI". The Virgin fits exactly in the center of the round format and her finely detailed face faces. Jesus is on his left, leaning on the open book on his mother's lap. A figure appears on the left of the format, Jean-Baptiste child. The figure of the little Saint John hardly emerges from the bronze, reflecting the aesthetics of the unfinished Michelangelo.
