"Trumeau In Lacquered And Gilded Wood"
Monumental trumeau carved lacquered and gilded dating from the late 17th early 18th century probably from the borders of eastern Europe. Sinuous and interwoven wood decor ending each time with a large sheet of acanthus. The woodwork of this trumeau is entirely openwork from its base to its top which is a beautiful work of sculpture. (The mirror and the grisaille are later than the woodwork) Height: 285 cm
