Large original lithograph, artist edition, depicting the Battle of Friedland (1807) after a painting of Ernest Meissonier painted in 1888. Handwritten Signatures drypoint Ernest Meissonier bottom left and bottom Jules Jacquet to the right. Printed by Samon & Ardail. Glass door on the label of the sale of the collection of Prince Napoleon filling his villa in Prangins (Switzerland) October 30 to November 11, 1950, under number 1251. door on the back label of the framer and a label personal handwritten Prince Napoleon "see notes 2 memory." Framed stained mahogany (some small shocks). original mounting to curved bottom for better tension of the work, only the mounting part has been redone. No tears or foxing. In a perfect state. Dimensions: -Total: 119 X 89 cm -from the engraving: 88 X 57 cm
