Francisque Chaleyssin (1872-1951) Important Louis XV style flat desk in rosewood veneer. Curved on all sides, it opens with three drawers on the front. Onrmentation of gilded bronzes on all sides: falls, clogs, keyholes. Leather upper with stylized gold trim. Arched legs, oak frame. Hot iron stamp of the master cabinetmaker. Around 1930.
