Victor Jean Baptiste Binet (1849-1924) "Shepherd and his flock" Oil on Canvas This is a landscape painter Norman. He first worked for the theater, performing sets. He then worked with Troyon and is devoted primarily to paint his home region in a sensitive palette of measured and delicate tones. He exhibits at 1878 mainly landscapes: The Seine near Saint Aubin (1880), the French (1881), Old Street in Arcueil, who won a third medal in 1882. In 1900 he was made officer of the Legion of Honor. His works are exhibited in museums of Amiens Lyob and Rouen.
