"Tourist Poster Le Chateau De Vitré"
Old tourist poster, for the State Railways, designed by Hildebrand in 1931 and representing the Chateau de Vitré in Brittany. The poster is fresh in color, without tears with at most a few slight creases, normal for a litho of this period. It was framed under glass with a very nice palm wood frame; it was neither backed nor glued. Frame dimensions 64.5 x 102.5 cm; the litho is approximately 60 x 98; the “view” is 58.5 x 96 cm; the width of the baguette is 3 cm. The photos, because of the glass, are marred by parasitic reflections.
