This pair of paintings representing boats in the port, probably Vendée, are oils on canvas signed lower left. These paintings have been cleaned, and the frames restored The painter Jules Ribeaucourt (1862 - 1932) was a very popular painter in Marseille In 1900 J. Ribeaucourt was secretary of the Salon des Artistes français In 1913 he was a gold medalist at this same salon In 1928 he was appointed official painter of the Navy and received the Legion of Honor and obtained the post of curator of the Cantini museum in Marseille Dimensions of the frame Height 43 cm Length 56 cm
