18th century folding knife, 1 steel blade marked ROUSSEAU with a navy anchor. Handle made up of mother-of-pearl plates, with alternating gold beams. The rivets are "dressed" with gold rosettes. The bolsters are also gold. Spring largely thinned towards the end of the handle, the back of the knife decorated with a light guillochage. This knife is in good condition, the spring is firm and efficient. The blade has suffered no damage, minimal play in the axis.
