Spectacular view of BRITTANY by Belgian artist Oswald POREAU (1877-1955). This is an Oil on canvas signed and dated (1933) lower right, countersigned and titled "May" on the back. It measures 80 x 100 cm (98 x 118 cm with its frame). The painting is in perfect condition; it has been carefully cleaned by my restorer and is presented in a very beautiful natural oak frame. I have not managed to identify precisely the place where the painting was executed; the artist has worked extensively in Brittany (Le Diben, Côte Sauvage, Côte d'Emeraude, Baie de Morlaix, Ploumanach, Concarneau, etc.).
