Luxurious Drageoir 1st Empire, Gilt Paris Porcelain By Darte, Good Condition.

Superb Porcelaine de Paris, signed by Darte ainé, covered drageoir in 3 parts, with a beautiful contrast between bright gold and matte gold. The amati gold, which is the background for the decoration, is in fact a lighter gold, finely drawn with a golden network reminiscent of a honeycomb.
The lid has a golden floral button, it is decorated with a frieze of cherubs camaïeu of blue frolicking in a rotating decor. Inside of this lid is beautifully gilded, with bright gold.
Cup, which offers a similar interior gilding, has a circular base, a central foot, with 3 buttresses in the shape of arched dolphins, rich gilding, as well as 3 lion masks in relief. Decor of 3 groups of cupids playing. On the display, below left white with a golden thread, the decor is sample, presenting Roman antiquities, vases, chariot, various instruments. Good general condition, no breakage, no defect. Slight gold wear on the bottom of display.
