John Byam Liston Shaw (November 13, 1872 – January 26, 1919), better known as by Byam Shaw, is a British painter, illustrator and teacher born in Madras, India. He is one of the founders of the Byam Shaw School of Art (1910), grouped with five other schools in the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design .
