A gilt metal Equatorial sundial by Johann Georg Vogler.
Augsburg, late 18th Century.
Measures 5cm at its widest.
Of octagonal form with folding gnomon and dial, the reverse is inscribed with the destinations including Lisbon, Rome, Moscow, etc.
Signed ‘I G V’ to the reverse, the initials of Johann Georg Vogler (c. 1720-1765).
