Large 19th Century Fountain In Carrara Marble
Superb and large 19th century garden fountain in Carrara marble. It rests on a square base surmounted by a column with a carved baluster decorated with acanthus leaves. On the whole of the barrel there are 3 cups ranging from a large one at the bottom surmounted by a medium and a small one at the top. At the top is a perforated baluster where a copper tube is incorporated allowing water to circulate. The whole is finely decorated with palms and chanterelles and the basins are molded. High quality work, some minimal scratches but a decorative set in very good condition.
