Tsuba nagamarugata, depicting a rice farmer relacing his sandal seated on a branch at the edge of the water, two birds in full flight overhang him. On the reverse, three bundles of rice straw are laid out on the ground while a bird is nestled on a branch.
The scene is richly enhanced with details in gold, silver and copper.
Seppa Dai signed and Seki gan in shakudō.
It is kept in a custom-made wooden storage box bearing the number 13.
