Coffee Table By Roger Capron, Herbarium Model, In Ceramic Circa 1960 - 1970
Artist: Roger Capron
Oval coffee table by the very famous ceramist from Vallauris, Roger Capron around 1960-70.
The top is made up of shiny white ceramic tiles and matte tiles with a "grarrigues sandstone" decor. The latter result from the impression of plants in the earth so that, once baked, by a kind of artificial fossilization, only their imprint remains hollow. Each tile is a unique piece. These "grarrigues sandstone" were a huge success. The belt of the top and the 4 rectangular legs are in wood.
Signed on the plate.
This table model goes very well in an old or modern interior.
Delivery possible, estimate on request.
