Dimensions without frame: 28 x 41 cm With frame: 40.5 x 53 cm Maryse Ducaire was a student of Emmanuel Fougerat and graduated from the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris. She has shown her work at numerous exhibitions in Paris, including the Salon des Artistes Indépendants (of which she was a member), the Salon des Artistes Français (where she won a gold medal), and the Salon d'Automne. . She also had her personal exhibitions in Paris, Aurillac, Lyon, Grenoble and New York. Ducaire was made Chevalier of the Legion of Honor.
