Oil on panel representing the surroundings of a bastide. Dated 1921, signed Claude Firmin (1864-1944), painter from Avignon, pupil of Bonnat. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists from 1889 to 1922. Member of the group of Thirteen, he was director of the School of Fine Arts in Avignon from 1937 to 1941. Works present at the Calvet and Louis Vouland museums.
