Painter, designer, watercolourist, sculptor, ceramist, belgian poetess.
Training in Van Strydonck's studio, while improving in Paris. Prix de Rome in 1922.
It starts from elements belonging to visible reality and synthesizes them. Initially emphasized the accuracy of the drawing but later, she spreads the pigments in broad and strong strokes and in large strokes.
In Paris, she produced a few gray-blue portraits in the style of the Nabis. His palette consists of light tones: lots of blue, emerald green and ultramarine blue. His impressionist style is close to Fauvism.
Travel to France, Italy, Greece, Ireland and England.
Has a workshop in Brussels. Member of the "Royal Belgian Society of Watercolourists".
From 1931 to 1950, she was a member of the jury for the Prix de Rome.
She published collections of poems: "A la source d'Ara" (1934), "Feu de Bois" (1970).
Member of the "Belgian Women's Artistic Federation".
Works at the Museum of Walloon Art in Liège and in the Museums of Brussels, Antwerp, Ixelles and Tournai.
