19th century bronze bust with green brown patina, on gilt bronze pedestal. Signed L Grégoire. Marked Boyer Frères Paris on the pedestal. A wooden base covered with velvet is fixed under the pedestal with a cartridge marked: "Comice Agricole de Jonzac honorary bonus offered by Count Duchatel former deputy to Mr Ernest Perrault winner of the 1890 montlieu competition".
