Transition Style ceremonial chest of drawers in cube marquetry after the Oeben model It has a projection on the front, ears on its front uprights and hooks on its rear uprights. It opens with 5 drawers in 3 rows including 3 drawers in the first row. It has a rich decoration of gilded bronzes. It is furnished on the first row as well as its sides with friezes decorated with oves in gilded bronze concealing its pull rings. Under the friezes, fluted bronze rods separate the first row from the second. The high falls of the uprights are rams' heads ending in acanthus leaves and acorns. The low falls of the feet are decorated with winding acanthus leaves and the hooves are scratched with lion's paws on the 4 feet. Finally, the pull handles, keyholes and lamp base complete the opulent trim of this chest of drawers. It is entirely inlaid on an oak frame. It is topped with a double-grooved "violet breccia" marble with a thickness of 4 cm. It is a chest of drawers intended for a living room or a very beautiful entrance hall. Parisian work from the end of the 19th century from the workshops of Faubourg Saint Antoine. Welcome to my store in Nice opposite the Masséna museum and just behind the famous Negresco hotel.
