Regency Style Queen Armchair Circa Early XIX Eme
Imposing and spectacular Armchair with queen back in molded walnut. Richly carved with cartridges, foliage and shells. It rests on arched feet ending in windings. Epoque early XIX th Regency style Tapestry upholstery of the backrest; adorned with a flowery rosette and foliage. Upholstery of the seat and back in imitation of a very beautifully crafted crocodile skin. This gives the whole a resolutely exotic and very trendy touch which harmonizes perfectly with the academic style of the armchair. Note a small tear of 2 cms not very visible at the top left of the backrest and a slot in the left belt without structural consequences. Height 1.20 Depth 0.65 Width 0.70
