Charming terracotta sculpture representing the famous child drawing from the bronze original created in 1795 by Charles-Gabriel Sauvage dit Lemire and exhibited at the Louvre. Our copy bears a Canova signature. Partially altered patina, especially on the back. Period late 19th century around 1880.
