Magnificent two-part china cabinet by Louis Paolozzi edited by René Godfrid in the 1950s. Louis Paolozzi worked frequently with René Godfrid to offer a series of innovative and useful furniture for the home. A beautiful period advertisement is visible in the photo. The upper part of the sideboard, worked in ash, fits into the base, which is in mahogany. It has a sliding door revealing two shelves on one side, and two flaps revealing a bar area lined with green felt and a new storage space with a shelf on the other. There are also two entablature drawers and a removable rattan shelf. The design of L. Paolozzi on this dresser is all curved.
