The passage of the ford.
Oil on canvas of horizontal rectangular form "the passage of the ford", scene of life of the second part of the XVIIIth century; mending on frame set in a gilded wooden frame treated in amati and burnished. A couple of peasants are busy crossing the river ford with their animals. The peasant woman, perched on a mule, advises her husband, who is busy getting the recalcitrant sheep into the water, on what to do. In front of two cows and an ox regain the other bank followed by a second mule loaded with the couple's belongings. On the heights in a grove, a large building and its dependences. Dimension frame width 35cm, height 29cm - Frame width 21.5cm, height16.5cm.
