"Richard Edmond Flatters 1822-1876. The Barricades 1848."
The revolution of 1848. Richard Edmond Flatters painted a barricade scene located on rue Coquenard during the day of February 25, 1848. Many details are brought to light and tell us about this historical period, the third revolution which put an end to the monarchy. Our painting is signed lower left and painted on its original canvas.
