Rare talking pedestal table signed E.Gallé on three turned legs in stained beech. Pansy flower decoration and the motto "More think what to say" pyrographed in an inlaid band, followed by the signature EG and cross of Lorraine. This sentence taken from a poem by Charles d'Orléans (1394 - 1465) is the motto of the city of BAR LE DUC. This pretty pedestal table is in very good condition; It has a small burn on the plateau on the right which does not alter its charm,
