History
This sugar bowl is part of the "blue agate background, frieze of colored daisies" cabaret composed of 12 tea cups with palmette handles and saucers, a Pestum teapot, a Pestum sugar pot (at 35 francs each), a milk jug Pestum and a bowl on foot (former Olivier Aaron collection, sold at Rémy Le Fur, October 8, 2019, lot 192). He entered the Manufacture's sales store on April 22, 1813 (Arch. Sèvres, Vv1, 3, v ° - 35), for a total cost of 484 francs. It was exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries in December 1814 and then delivered to King Louis XVIII that same month of December 1814 (Vbb5, 2 v °), following the King's visit during this exhibition.
