Pair Medallion or Door Miniature XVIII Bronze Decor Angelot and Love Ref269

Two ornamental medallions or also possibly a pair of miniature holders, used as a wall lamp to hang a miniature or a watch.
They are in gilded bronze decorated with cherubs and cupids, the carving is fine and well defined.
Period late eighteenth or early nineteenth.

They are in good condition, the original hooks are missing, they were properly mounted on walnut panels which are old but later.

Dimension of wooden frames: 12 x 12 cm.
Diameter of the bronzes: 8.1 cm and 8 cm.
Total weight: both with wood support: 288 grams.
