Belle Epoque Fine Pearls And Diamonds Brooch

Four-lobed in shape, old brooch made of gold and platinum threads on which are placed 12 fine pearls and an old brilliant-cut diamond in beaded bezel setting. The entire edge is set with alternating old brilliant-cut diamonds in a beaded bezel setting and rose-cut diamonds. The clasp is a metal pin with a safety hook. This clasp can be removed using a small gold screw.

Our opinion: A lovely diamond and pearl brooch which was undoubtedly part of a more complete set. A small screw thread is always present on the back, it allowed to fix the old jewel on another support such as a hairpin, a necklace ... These clasps were often in metal, more rigid than gold. The latter proves the authenticity of this magnificent old jewel.
