Two Optical Views, 18th C.

Two color optics views, dating from the 18th century with the original frame.

The first represents the Place Dauphine in Paris and the second "The Place of Louis XV the well-liked"

Optical views are prints of a particular type, engraved to be seen using a device, an "optical", which gives an impression of relief by using a lens through which we look at the image. In order to optimize this impression, the vanishing lines of the drawing are exaggerated.
