Very beautiful painting representing a village under the snow with characters, a river and trees. Dated 1885 and signed Galipeau? It is an oil on canvas which has never been restored (see photo on the back). Frame from the same period in wood, gilded with leaf. - Canvas dimensions: 32 x 24.5 cms. - External dimensions frame: 44.5 x 37 cms. - Frame strip width: 7 cms.
