Pierre Kjellberg, Le Mobilier Francais du XVIII Siecle, 1989, p. 566 and following. Pierre-Harry Mewesen, of Swedish origin, became master in 1766 and moved to rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine, in "la main d'or", where he remained for about twenty years until the Revolution.
