Angelo Mangiarotti(1921-2012) is an Italian architect and designer. In the United States, he taught at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and met Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Frank Lloyd Wright and Walter Gropius. He notably worked for Cassina. A major figure in Italian design, his conception of the “Eros” table in 1971 and of the “Skipper” table in 1980 are two of his main achievements.
