With profile of the Duc de Nemours
Blue and white biscuit medallion in the style of Wedgwood, representing the Prince Louis of Orleans (1814-1896), Duke of Nemours and second son of King Louis-Philippe, in right profile, after sculptor Barre.
Inscription incised on the perimeter: “L. CH. D'ORLEANS DUC DE NEMOURS” and the date 1814 corresponding to his date of birth.
In a beautiful ormolu round frame.
Very good condition.
Sèvres Royal Manufactory, Louis-Philippe period, circa 1840.
