Louis Majorelle Side Table
Trilobed pedestal table with two trays inlaid with flowers (red Saint Martin wood, beech, poplar burl, elm, lemon, mahogany) on a background of dappled and meshed plane tree. The tops are joined together by fluted and twisted legs, which allows the bottom top to be offset from the top one; a lobe positioned in a hollow. Very nice cabinetry work for the feet and marquetry for the tops. Signed L Majorelle Nancy. around 1900.
