"Bronze Sculpture "venus And Love""

Bronze sculpture with brown patina signed Edmé Antony Paul Noël (1845-1909), representing Venus and Cupid. Naked, she holds back with one hand her son, Love, and with the other an arrow that she has just withdrawn from him. Love, looking amused, rests on a stone, clinging to Venus's leg. A stepped white marble plinth magnifies this beautiful sculpture.
