Louis XVI period chest of drawers with central projection in rosewood veneer, rosewood, light wood threads and tinted wood. It opens with three drawers in three rows and presents on the front and on the sides, a symmetrical decoration of butterfly wing marquetry in geometric frames underlined by false grooves in trompe-l'oeil. The uprights and tapered feet decorated with simulated grooves. Sainte-Anne marble top. Ornamentation of gilded bronzes. Stamped Short twice. Louis XVI period. Height: 91 cm Width: 132 cm Depth: 65 cm Jean-Baptiste Courte or Kurt, Dijon cabinetmaker received Master in 1777.
