Art Deco Extendable Dining Table in Walnut Veneer, France, circa 1930.
The table has an amazing and very beautiful walnut veneer on the plates and has been hand polished with shellac (French polished). The sides of the plate and the leg are also finely plated. Between the two feet there is an original chromed steel rail. The two optional expandable inlay plates or sheets in the middle are blackened (polished black) and should be stored separately when not in use. Underneath, the table has two hinges, which can be screwed together when the table is closed to the smallest length.
The table can be extended to three different lengths possible: 120 cm / 157 cm / 192 cm
