Walnut Briar Sewing Table
French sewing table from the second half of the 1800s,
made of solid mahogany and walnut burl.
The turned legs have a twisted shape and end on curled feet.
The solid mahogany top is plated in the upper part with walnut burl.
By opening the lid, you enter a compartment divided into small compartments
with a red velvet pincushion in the center.
The wavy front, also in briar walnut,
is completed by another drawer with lock and key.
Restored and polished with shellac internally and externally.
