Fine Set Of 12 Chippendale Style Mahogany Dining Chairs

A very good quality set of 12 Dining Chairs in solid mahogany in the style of Thomas Chippendale. The pierced and carved cresting rails above pierced conjoined scroll and interlaced vase shaped splats, with drop in stuffed seats, the front seat rails with a gadrooned apron, on cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and ending in carved claw and ball feet. The condition is excellent and the polish is in excellent condition. They have not been repolished, they are a very imposing set of dining chairs and it is quite rare to find sets of 12.
