Glaive of the Belgian army for the wounded of 1830. Model on the type of venner knives with bronze fittings. Finely squared ebony handle imitating at the top a cap terminated by a brass rivet plug. Cast bronze cruise with inverted quillon in the shape of dogs' heads. Cruising knot decorated in relief on the obverse of the date "1830" and on the reverse "7bre" for September.
