Schneider Art Deco Vase
Pretty Schneider vase in blue marbled yellow glass paste and blown in a wrought iron frame decorated with stylized foliage. Signed at the tip "SCHNEIDER" on the glass. Traces of gilding on the balls and at the base. Perfect condition of the glassware and the frame. Vase made between 1922-1924. The wrought iron frames were made directly in a special workshop set up in the enclosure of the Schneider factory. Glassware blown in a wrought iron frame only represents a small part of the total ironwork production of the Schneider factories, which explains the rarity of these pieces.
