Fine Art Furniture, A
Furniture of fine art is poorly known and very difficult to find. Here is a support to draw nicknamed "parrot" by the art teacher I had. This support is used to wedge its feet and to support its drawing board as you can see on the document attached in the photograph. In the drawing studio where I studied, this device (parrot and stool) were fixed to the ground, which allowed each session to find exactly the same angle of view and the same posture, because the reading of the proportion of the plaster drawing (academic method) is done on his pencil, the outstretched arm with one eye closed.
