His works are in charcoal, watercolor, pen and ink, but he mainly used the technique of blowing diluted oils on paper.

Hargreaves Ntukwana (Afrique du Sud 1938-1998).

He studied Music, and Fine Arts with Cecil Scotties at the African School of Art in Harare and privately at the Artist Colony of Toledo, Spain.
He was the first black artist to exhibit at the Alder Fielding Gallery in Johannesburg in 1967.
From 1972 he exhibited in Salisbury and Harare, Zimbabwe at the African School of Art.
His first solo exhibition abroad was in London in 1973 and from there exhibitions were held in Paris, Munich, Frankfurt, Denhaag Bonn, Denmark, Zurich, San Diego, Atlanta, Boston.
He designed the costumes for the multiracial show “Black and White is Beautiful” with Welcome Msomi.
